Tutu Drive 2010

I am very excited about stumbling across a great charity. It is a Tutu Drive! What is a Tutu Drive? Well, I saw this posted on this blog post and could not wait to read more about it. It is called the Princess Alexa Foundation. They take dress up clothes to seriously ill children and let them create their own fairyland! I love it!
So in all the excitment..My mom donated the fabric and I made a superhero cape for the boys. (I plan to make more!) I used this tutorial and got busy! I love the way it turned out and my kids are begging for one themselves.

This is a great organization and I would love to help out more if I can.

And we are done with the latest project! Turned out about the way I wanted it...maybe the next one will be perfect! Thank you to my lovely model!

Sneak Peek

What I have been up to this week....(short but sweet)
Baby doll diapers for my niece's 2nd birthday!
Cute and reusable! Contact me if you would like some, I do sell these.

And a little sneak peak at a project I just started for my Sa-Sa. I found this adorable pattern and HAD to try it. I get alittle carried away with my summer time projects. Can you blame me? This dress is so cute and summery, I can't wait to finish it. If all goes well, I will post the finished product soon!

Busy Bodies

In the summer, I have a hard time focusing on one thing. I love to squeeze in as much as we can day to day. I started with crocheting a baby gift. Then...

We let Sailor ride for awhile. Then...

We head to the beach for some fishing and fun. Then....

I make more headbands. Then...

I make pillows for my patio. Then...

Whew, I'm tired. Our garden is thriving right now and I am very busy canning all my greenbeans. I will be posting more as soon as I can catch my breath.

Summer is a comin'

I can feel it! The sticky watermelon hands, the melted popsicles in the garage and wet bathing suits on the laundry room floor . I love it though! My boogers are excited and everyday is a new summer adventure.

I get to break out my summertime fabrics too! I started by making my girl a quilt for her toddler bed and then on to some cute headbands from this tutorial
